Our Tiered Commitment to Change
As a growing, founder-led brand, we believe in “Responsible Radicalism.” We build systems that ensure we can show up for our community forever.
The Foundational Phase (In Progress): Once partnerships are established, we are committed to a foundational donation of $200 annually to each of our three target organizations ($600 total).
The Scalable Phase (Our Goal): Once Purely Lavinia reaches a consistent milestone of $50,000 in net profit per quarter, we will transition to a deeper impact model — donating 2% of net profits to each organization (6% total) every quarter.
This ensures that as we grow, our giving grows with us — intentionally and transparently.
1. Environmental Stewardship: Fair Trade Certified™
Why We’re Pursuing This: Our formulas are rooted in “from the ground” ingredients. We believe we cannot have pure products without a pure and equitable supply chain. A partnership with Fair Trade Certified™ would ensure that the farmers and producers behind our raw materials work in safe conditions, earn livable wages, and utilize sustainable farming practices.
Our Goal: To ensure every ingredient we source is tied to a supply chain that is fair, transparent, and sustainable.
2. Generational Empowerment: UpTogether
Why We’re Pursuing This: As an educator, I know that families don’t need “managing” — they need resources. UpTogether trusts families in low socioeconomic status with direct investment, allowing them to overcome systemic barriers on their own terms. A partnership with UpTogether would support families through unrestricted cash transfers, community connection, and a model that replaces top-down intervention with genuine autonomy.
Our Goal: To break the cycle of poverty by investing in the collective strength and initiative of families and communities.
3. Systemic Mental Wellness: BEAM
Why We’re Pursuing This: We are built on encouraging people to be their most authentic selves — and mental health is a right, not a luxury. BEAM works to expand access to care by training community leaders in Healing Justice, providing direct financial support to families, and creating alternatives to traditional, gatekept care models. A partnership with BEAM aligns directly with our mission to support the whole person.
Our Goal: To help dismantle medical racism and financial inequality in healthcare by supporting community-led healing.
